The following are observations about my experience in becoming ill and my subsequent involvement with BioHealth. In April of 1996 I became ill and was diagnosed as having Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. Over the ensuing two years I experienced periods of apparent improvement though never did realize significant progress toward better health in that time. Despite my efforts to explore a variety of testing procedures, treatments, supplements, professional advice and therapeutic activity I remained in a despairing state of chronic pain, depression and lethargy.

In July of 1998 I was told about BioHealth and their more advanced approach to clinical evaluation. On the advice of my BioHealth healthcare practitioner I underwent adrenal, gastro-intestinal and metabolic test evaluations. The three tests together confirmed the doctor's suspicions about the source of my problems. Astute interpretation of the test results revealed some alarming facts about the state of my body functions and illuminated the urgency for appropriate action.

In following adrenal protocol, dietary restrictions, sequential use of supplements and lifestyle alterations I have in a period of ten weeks realized significant sustained improvement in my condition. During that time my chronic pain and depression are mostly gone. My sense of well being is much improved and my energy has begun to return. I am recovering some self-esteem which is helping my enthusiasm and allowing me to participate with people in a more rewarding way.

Having for two years endured despair and the notion that my condition might never improve one can imagine my elation and relief. It occurs to me how potentially destructive can be the notion of a vague generalized diagnosis. Tests never before available now enable physicians to see patterns and detect dangerous conditions that in the past remained a mystery. Debilitating illness combined with emotional despair can have tragic and irreversible consequences. My experience with BioHealth and the implementation of their protocols has been very rewarding in a relatively short period of time.

It has now been three years since I wrote the preceding letter. I have continued to experience the rewards of modifying my lifestyle, food intake and supplementation. Monitoring the functioning systems in my body with testing and evaluation has helped guide my treatment. Though I have not fully recovered my health and vitality the improvements in my health have enabled me to have a much more rewarding life. By conducting my life in a more thoughtful manner with a balance of activities and prudent dietary choices I am able to experience the joys of a relatively normal life. The staff at BioHealth Diagnostics has been the steadfast resource that sustained my spirits and guided my journey back to better health. I will forever be grateful for the profound humanity and genuine concern that was extended to me.
